I am just so incredibly sad.

No, I do not know anyone involved in the shootings in Tucson but I guess because it is in my home state ... in a city where I once lived, worked and was happy ... I dunno ...

I just feel sad.

Of course all of the local news channels have 95% of their broadcasts dedicated to stories about the shooting, the devil who wrought the evil, his victims and the heroes.

Seeing the images and hearing the backstories tears at my spirit and aches in my heart.

Earlier this evening I saw a "pause" in programming and the local ABC affiliate put photos of all six of the deceased with a simple "In Memory".

I wept.

Again.
